Nick has extensive experience representing clients in white collar investigations and enforcement matters, and has dealt with authorities and regulators in the U.S. and abroad. He also has significant experience representing clients in complex civil litigation.
He has represented clients in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, State Attorneys General, and a number of foreign authorities and regulatory bodies, and has substantial experience conducting internal investigations. He has also represented clients in complex civil litigation and international arbitration, including securities class actions, litigation related to bankruptcy proceedings, and other commercial disputes. Prior to joining Smith Villazor LLP, Nick was an associate at a large international law firm for more than four years.
